The film 'AI' (imdb entry) is not about simulations, but there is one scene that relates to Simulism.

At the end of the movie, the 'aliens' that find David, place him in a simulation where he meets his mother again. His mother in this simulation probably is not aware that she is being simulated; the aliens are apparently very capable of simulating history very accurately. This is in line with The Simulation Argument and the evolution of technology outlined in the Simulism description.
